- Door forced and door held-open alarms raised
- Request-to-exit releases the door without an alarm
- Door closer re-latches the door against seals and wind
- Events appear in software with the correct door name
Life safety
- Escape-route doors allow free egress at all times
- Green break-glass cuts power directly to fail-safe locks
- Fire alarm signal releases the door
- Mains and battery failure behaviour matches the design (fail-safe / fail-secure)
Hardware
- Lock voltage correct at the lock under load
- Flyback diode fitted across DC lock coils (if not built in)
- Reader cabling on the secure side; OSDP Secure Channel where supported
- PSU battery backup tested
