Every room

  • Patient call from handset: correct room and bed on light, display, and handset
  • Bathroom pull cord: higher-priority indication; cord reaches near floor
  • Presence and cancel work only at the point of call
  • Staff assist and emergency calls show correct priority
  • Handset disconnection raises a fault or call
  • Two-way speech clear (where fitted)

System

  • Higher-priority calls override lower ones
  • Escalation timings match the clinical team's agreement
  • Day/night zone changes work
  • Calls reach DECT / Wi-Fi handsets with correct text; accept and reject work
  • Fire alarm interface displays correctly and cannot affect the fire system

Resilience

  • Disconnect a device, bus, and network switch: faults reported
  • Mains removed: system runs on backup for the required time
  • Log shows test calls with accurate times

Acceptance

  • Clinical staff confirm tones, locations, zoning, and escalation
  • Device schedule, test sheets, drawings, and backup handed over
